ODH Fall hang planning thread

I have also stayed at Cove. Big Dogs Offroad hosted a trail day for Tacomas there. The area I was in didn't have lots of Hammock trees, I think group site 5 or 6. They're are plenty of trees but it's no Yates Place or John Rock.

I think it was site 7 that I stayed at, plenty of trees that would work for hammocks...it's definitely not John Rock, but I doubt there's anywhere else on the east coast to equal John Rock's trees...

Have the two of you seen the link, above, for the fall ODH hang at Prince William Forrest?

Yup, I'm hoping to attend that one...just figured I'd throw this out as a possibility for a future hang, maybe in winter...speaking of which, we might have better luck avoiding scheduling conflicts with other hangs (Frosty Butt @ Merchant's Mill Pond, Frozen Butt @ Mt Rogers/Grayson Highlands) in the winter if we go for early Feb instead of late Jan.

I do not know if I have thrown this out yet but I am heading to Peaks of Otter, to hang, on Labor Day weekend. I will be in B-42. Not an actual ODH event or anything but, if anyone wants to tag along, I thought I would throw it out there.
