I have about 30' of 1/8 amsteel blue.
1) What is the best way to "tie off" the ends. I have some mini 9s.
2) What to get #4 snake skins to tuck the 12x12 tarp into.
3) how to attach the tarp to the ridge line.(maybe ajust with mini S-hooks on prussics)
tie outs I'll with use speer no-tangle.

The Amsteel is overkill for a tarp. I'm using the Speer no-tangle for the ridge line, small 9's for tension.
For an el cheapo tarp, a full ridge line, configured so that the ridge line is taking most of the strain would be my choice...3 wraps around mini 'biners clipped to the tarp works for me.
