    New War Bonnet traveler question.

Just got my WB traveler today and I had 2 questions.

    1. It didn't come with biners, was it supposed to?

    2. How tight should the ridgeline be when hung with no weight in it? When I sat in it, it was as tight as a piano string.

1- No, biners aren't standard. I assume you chose the webbing suspension option.

2 - The ridgeline should *just* have it's sag removed when empty. When occupied, the ridgeline should be taut but not so tight that you can't slightly bend it with your fingers.

Hmm. I just spent my first night in my new Traveler, and the ridge line has slack in it.

Either I need to adjust the hang, or I'll need to shorten the ridge line.

agree'd, but I have slept in it loose, tight, just rght, and guitar string tight...all good!

I agree, as long as it's comfy it's fine. My comments were concerning what to look for in not getting it too tight.

Agree. Unless it's loose enough to bug you by hanging down, I don't think it matters. If anything, it might make it a tad more comfy. But if it does bug you, just tighten it up an inch or two.

It sets a permanent sag in the hammock regardless of how tight you have the suspension. Just gives a more consistent feel to every hang; convenience.
