    Camping with my dad.

Me and my dad went to do some hammock camping, fishing and hunting on my grandfathers farm. We set up two Claytor 3X4M tarps to make a huge roof to chill under in the rain. My dad slept in his Claytor Jungle hammock while I got my Warbonnet on! My grandfather helped figure out how to tie the silly knots on my dad's claytor jungle suspension. We each caught some fish from the pond and we each shot a a deer. I grilled us some burgers for dinner and my dad cooked up some bacon and eggs for breakfast. It was a good time

Here is a link to the pictures!

Congrats! Fish'n & hunt'n in one trip and luck with both of them, WOW! I can't say I've ever had it that good (even though I tried in September ). Did you get them with a bow or is your gun season open already?

Awesome ricegravy, good job, but I only see one deer in the pics????
Love the giant tarp set up. I'm trying my hammock chair in the woods today. Hope is works for shooting my bow out of.

Your dad got some nice looking fish. Were you catching fish or bait? Thanks for the pics!

Our Archery & Gun season in game zone 6 in South Carolina came in way back on Aug. 15.
I think we have the longest hunting season in the US down here.

I used one of my dad's 30-06 to shoot this deer. I will be using my bow on the next hunt. I just wanted to make sure to get some meat in the freezer before I started playing around with my bow, I'm not very good with it yet because when I see a deer I get so nervous that I forget how to shoot the thing. I have a Mathews Outback.

Wow what a great trip! I'd take that any time over a fancy-schmancy hotel stay! Great times, great memories.
