Just wanted to post a few pics from my first solo wilderness camp using the DD Frontline XL. It was great fun, and the hammock was comfy. With the addition of an oval shaped piece of reclectix placed between the layers of the hammock, along with my old 1970's coleman sleeping bag I stayed warm enough. I had 3 beetles that had latched on to the mosquito net when I had the hammock upside down to use as a camp chair, and I had to sleep with them all night because I never noticed they were there till after I was all sealed up. There's a lesson to remember for next time...check the net for bugs before it gets dark!

Only downside was the bugs(mostly the flies) and once I was home and showered, I quickly realized I got in to a patch of chiggers. I feel like ripping the skin off from my feet to my knees. Regardless of the downsides of wild camping, I look forward to doing a few more before the end of the year.
