Nice work, beautiful country, I'll be there next month can't wait. Idaho is a hidden gem.
Been thinking that we will run out of good spots in the Sawtooths in the next few years....then we can start ticking off hikes on the other side of the valley.
Nice video. The White Clouds were just signed in as a wilderness area a couple weeks ago. It's now protected so a lot of changes in management and use will be happening over the next year or two.

Such an awesome video my only complaint is it was much too short!!!
(insert pithy quote here)
As already mentioned by others, appreciate the editing. Many well done trip reports are full of talking and turn out great - this one with the images captured and the music were compiled nicely with no need for the talking! Thanks for sharing your trip!
Very happy that people enjoy the video! The band is the Mighty Oaks, song titled Just One Day. Finding music that goes along with the clips and conveying the mood of the trip is always the hardest part for me.
I think the future of the White Clouds status was being decided on while we were backpacking. Apparently there has been a lot of controversy over its designated use from the locals and the government officials on wether to leave the area as is, wilderness, or monument status. We did have a few motor bikes pass us on the way out and I have mixed feelings about it. It's not my thing, but I get that people do enjoy it and need a place to ride too. They were only allowed on the main trail and not the offshoots to most of the camping sites so it really didn't impact our trip.
Anyways, it's a great area that hopefully can retain it's seclusion and ruggedness through its transition.
So thankful the video did not start out with "Hey Youtube"
Nicely done!
Really nicely done. The trip must have been a great time and being able to share it with your brother. Cool. Picture of the two of you watching sun down must be a keeper memory for you. Keep these coming.
Awesome trip! I lived in Idaho for 7 years and your video brings back great memories, thanks for sharing.
Like everyone else I must say "Well done video!". Looks like some beautiful country to explore.
