Paypal is fine, but if you want to use some other method, they'll probably make arrangements for you. $10 is all it takes to be a donating member, you can scrape that out from under your couch cushions.

If the splicing is what you are concerned about, then you really have nothing to worry about. Splicing a rope such as for the Whoopie Sling derates the rope at the most about 5% or 6%. A knot can derate a rope by as much as 50%. So if you have been using a rope and knots, the Whoopie Sling will work just fine for you.
