Well what can I say, I'm just a 43 year old Scout leader, that has slept on the ground for far too long..I purchased my HH about two years ago and thought it was the best thing that ever happened to my camping experience but still used tents until my back couldn't take it anymore. So I began to hang and truly haven't looked at another tent...Now recently I was searching for an answer to my problem of getting cold and I came across this site, now can't stay of YouTube and the Internet searching for information on hammock camping. I solved my problem and gained another, thanks to Hammock gear and Dutch.. I now have a HUGE WISH LIST... I fell right at home. Thanks!

Welcome from Charlotte. I hear you about that hard ground. Even if I have a night where I don't sleep perfect in a hammock its still a lot better than being on the ground.

Hey! Welcome from Greensboro! Glad to hear of another hanger close by! Come out to Yates Place in October. It is quite a learning experience seeing everyone's setup.
