I thought that they come standard with topo maps. Does it have those?
No, that's the more expensive Oregon 450t that comes loaded with maps. I know, it's confusing which is why I listed no maps. I didn't want anyone thinking they were getting maps.
When I bought it I had a friend download the WV maps I needed from GPSfiledepot for free. There are all kinds of free maps on this site.
But you can buy maps from Garmin and other websites if you want to go that route. (no pun intended.)
