Im planning a long trip in the BWCA next year, I cant wait to get back up there again.
I am headed there on Monday. Looks like you had nice weather. I am taking my WBBB with bugnet - this late in the season you were probably OK without the net, but its a pretty low weight penalty for a canoe!

That photo was on Alder Lake. The western most campsite on the tip of the peninsula. Site was great for hanging. There were a couple of decent clearings in the woods with nicely spaced plentiful pine trees that would accommodate multiple hammocks. The areas offered nice shade, a pine needle covered ground and simple access in and out to the landing.
