Hexon was made from the ground up as a hammock fabric. The threads used are specifically made to to produce a nylon fabric that doesn't feel like nylon or plastic. It also isn't slick at all, if it was a paint, it would be a flat paint. Not only does this have a nice feel, but your pad or body won't slide around as easily. Then there is the 4 way ripstop to improve strength and reduce stretch. You are on a web of ripstop that cradles you. It increase the strength greatly while only increasing the weight slightly. Now with the release of the 1.0 there is a great variety in weights to choose form. There is 1.0, 1.6, and bombproof 2.4 ounce per sq yard fabric. There is also a quality DWR so it is very breathable but it resist water absorption.

I didn't intend to make that page live just yet. I don't have the shipping weights and pics up yet. However I am going to let it ride and I will work on it in between family stuff this weekend.
