Whole lot of Whoopies and endless loops!!!

I had ordered a few packages of Amsteel and the rest is history! I didn't realize making my own would be this easy and I really enjoy doing them. I made the whoopies with a 3" fixed loop and a 10" bury. Are working length of 20"-70". Endless loops are a bit over 7" and are working excellent.

...Then you get all your improvements made and you still go to Dutch's to see the price of Zing-it even though you don't really need any more. Congrats on finding the fun in making your own! They look good.

Right there with you! My new found splicing skills, thanks to this forum, are a solution in search of a problem.

Have you tried a soft shackle yet? I've been having fun with those.

I have soft shackles , and loops for days. I have to force myself to put the amsteel down sometimes. I keep thinking " maybe i should make new whoopie slings." Do i need 'em? No but i love splicing rope now! Zing it softshackle key chain? Yep, got one. It's just fun.

I have been there as well.

I even tried making a continuous loop around my own wrist. I was successful. Then I wore it for months..... Eventually had to cut it off....
