Yeah, it's Turk's fault i am sitting with this thing in my lap
    Thanks Turk !
The issues was just small stuff and i am sure it will be sorted out by Alpacka.
Strange issues though, i wonder if it was the heat or if the bonding was not right ?

    Me too!
Is it okay if i point him in your direction if he needs help to get started?
They have some really nice hammocks but they tend to be a bit pricey.
But they made by The Mlabri tribe and not low salary slaves.
I am looking at the sitting hammock at the moment and curse myself for not getting that one as well, while i was down there.

    Go for it, Shug!
I only see 2 negative things about it:
    1. The price tag.
    2. And the fact ,that it adds 2-3 kg to your pack.

    Besides that it's just great!

I might write up a Alpacka review in hammock accessories later on

BTW, did you ever get those Mukluks?
I'm still very curious about them .

    To All
    Thanks for all kind words!

Loved the trip report and photos. Never can have too many photos. My daughter is preparing to spend Jan - April traveling and backpacking in southeast Asia with her husband who is a chef. I will share your report with her. Very timely, as my daughter, who lives in Portland OR, is home visiting now. Thanks.

It's been said on this site, "if there aren't any pictures, it didn't happen"

This was a fascinating report, pics were beautiful, I'm very envious.

    awesome HF flag pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

very cool man. great shots. priceless trip!

sorry to hear about the problems with the alpacka. Never heard of a spraydeck bonding issue before, and I keep pretty good tabs on all known problems for various production years. The seat leak issue is pretty common with late 09 boats due to alpackas new seat welding machine. The good news is it is easily fixed with a household iron. Need any help shoot me a PM.

    awesome trip ~!

Hmmm...I was assuming () that Moski got one of these to help carry his gear.
Now, it is clear he meant these
    Very cool either way
