Forgot to take a pic, but stayed near Stockbridge shelter in Harriman State Park on Sat. 50F during the day brought out more people than I'd seen out there in 6 months. Only two more shelters in HSP and I'll have seen em all!

I got my February hang in on a scout camp at a local shooting range last night. I went without the tarp as the weather was good and that left my view wide open to the valley below. 38° for the overnight low. I'm 6 for 6 now. #12nights
Had my official Feb Hang with the Ohio group at Mohican State park this past Friday. Only one night, but always good to get out with this group.

Got my second night in for the year. Both have came in February. This one is at the Great Smoky Mountain Council, Unaka District Boy Scout Freezoree. Beautiful night but am going to have to upgrade insulation before next winter. Got down into the mid twenties last night and the ENO insulation just couldn't keep up. Didn't get uncomfortable cold but cooler than I like. But Hey! I got to hang....
February hang on Friday night at Camp Crystal Lake with the scouts. Hang next to a babbling brook. Set a new personal low of 20.8; I was expecting 14. I was apparently too warm as my hammock under my feet was covered in ice in the morning.

That sounds suspiciously like the start to a horror movie.
Got mine in for February in the creek bottom behind our house. Looking forward to some actual camping now that things are warming up. Went to bed when it was about 40*, got down in the mid to low 20's. Woke up to a pretty heavy frost, but stayed pretty warm and slept well. No tarp that night, and enjoyed the stars.
6 for 6!

Demo'ed a Sheltowee Boone 20* set up with topper in the backyard gazebo last night - Atlanta area. Got down to low 30s and I was warm and toasty in my little cocoon!
First time in a hammock and it was a success!! Happy to be able to sleep on my side comfortably too. Will sleep in it another night or 2 before pulling the trigger but I'm ready to get off the ground on my next week-long AT section hike!
Thank you Alex @ Sheltowee for the generous try-before-buy demo option!
