Taking care of my March hang right now at Blind Lake in Pinckney Rec Area. Had a nice 7 mile hike in and enjoying the 25 degree night in porch mode listening to the owls and some kind of waterfowl out on the lake. Should be a nice mental recharge!
Just completed this month's outing, the Ohio March Hang at the Byzantine Catholic Monastery in Hinckley. Good weather, good fires and good companions. Seven for seven!

At home 3 weeks ago, my third hang. Built the fire too, that was a first.
7 for 7... Had another great hang with the scouts.
This time we were hoping for a nice warm 25°F night, but were pleasantly surprised with a cooler 10°F + slightly windy night. We are trying to camp as cold as possible for the winter months. Both to test our gear and the boys.
Still a lot of snow in the mountains. A great trip!

A bit chilly last night on the Pinchot Trail-South Loop in Lackawanna State Forest in (Penn)Rocksylvania.
March hang in an open field with the scouts (I'm glad I made that spurtle). Great campout, great campfires, Lots of skills and requirements. A few cold scouts with lows of 29 and 28 F.

March has been the opposite of cold weather challenges for me - two outings at warm temps for March and glad I got them in because the pine pollen is in full force. I've never had allergies, but it's still annoying.

Doing March with adult bsa training on Lake Alatoona.
Learned that hammocks are very horrible for trees and are barely forgivable from our LNT master trainer.
