Are there any families who use 6 hammocks?

I am a complete convert to hammocks, but I am wondering if it will be a lot harder to find places to hang with 6 hammocks if the family also converts. I have 4 kids, so as a family we need 6 hammocks. Anyone have experience with this? Also, could the little ones double up in a hammock until they are older and until what age weight. I know we can hang two high, but this last trip I was on I am not sure we would have been able to find enough trees close together. Maybe when the kids get older that would work but they are still pretty young. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. I was seriously thinking of getting everyone their own hammock for Christmas. Thanks!

It is possible to Bunk hammock the little ones over an adult or older sibling. This will cut down on number of trees needed. As well as number of tarps.

When planning a large family outing with all wanting to use hammocks it might be worth scouting for future camping spots via day hikes rather than just hoping you can find enough trees on a blind overnighter. That would be the safest way.

I also have 4 kids. The littles (5,6) can sleep with my wife and I. The older boys (12,15) have their own gear. Eventually we will make gear for the littles. We haven't done many overnights yet.
If you are unable to scout the area ahead of time I would look into making some stands. I use a single pole type. If you have one good tree you can set everyone off of it and only add minimal weight to your pack.

We have 3 kids, and we all hang. The youngest since she was 4. We also regularly hang with my buddy and his girlfriend, so 7 hammocks total. We don't have too many issues, but we do live in the boreal forest.

I also have a size 6 family. The most that has hung overnight at once has been 4. From what I have seen, state parks and most national parks have been too groomed for a large family to hang as a family. When we have backpacked and hung along the trail, it has been much easier to support the larger number.

I am currently up to 4 hammocks. Still need to make gear for the other 2. Maybe next month.

We are hanging this weekend with 5 hammocks. I did as recommended above by scouting the site first. That's not always possible but better be safe than sorry. If car camping, bring a back-up plan. A, ah, ah, tent! There I said it.

When hanging with my 7 year old, I try to get him under my tarp. This is done by finding four close trees to go side by side. If only three trees, then hang using a triangle formation with the foot end of the hammocks on one tree and head end on their own tree not too far apart. If the trees are thick, you can pull the tree strap to the opposite sides of the trees. If you have two thick trees, do the same for head and foot end and thereby hanging two hammocks on two larger trees side by side.

Group campsites will be your best bet in your circumstance, depending on the area of course. We never bunked, but 3 trees per pair of hammocks works well. Rotate your straps around the single tree to get a bit more room between hammocks.
