Looking like a right goodie of a trip out there Kurt. Man....I need to start fishing.....or better yet go with a fishing-fanatic.
The BWCA is awesome. Yessir, I say awesome as it is fitting.
Paddling was fun to me but I find I am a walker. More shade it the woods. Portaging the canoe and putting my camera on the canoe bar to chat was my solo time on the woods and I releished it. Fun totin' a boat and hearing myself prattle on.

That would not be me. I am the world's worst fisherman, didn't have a MN license for the trip as I am out-of-state now and it wasn't worth it. Certainly enjoyed eating the efforts of others though On the bright side, I contributed by doing all the paddling while Jerry dangled a line. Good times!

Great stuff. Loved those canoes and the UBB mission. Good reports coming out of the BWCA here lately.
