    Overnight on Mt Ernest...Australia

    Beautiful warm spring weather, thigh & knee burning ascent, dense patches of scrub,
    endless ridges to clamber over, water rationing, sweating/ cursing...all that was forgotten
    once the summit was reached. Heavenly.

    Great overnighter.

    That very nasty flu circulating here in Oz knocked me around a bit, felt like
    dying at one stage, but feeling o' so good now....energy to burn.
