Does anyone have a photo of a Hennessey overcover? Thanks.

Here's the one I made ala headchange4u's idea:

There's actually a series of pics of it there if you use the previous/next pic buttons.

That's cool. How much does it weigh?

I'm not really sure, actually...this one was more of a prototype, so I used 1.9 oz. Walmart ripstop. The plan was to finalize the design, then remake it using 1.1 oz. DWR...but then I stopped using my Hennessy.

Here's a couple of pics of my DIY version from this thread.

That looks great. Thanks.
I am trying to figure out a way to make it adjustable from the inside. I was thinking I could put it over the ridge line inside, and run the two ends over a string along the bottom of the bug net. This would enable the shield to slide back and forth.
I would have to sew a line at the foot end, center, and head end of the hammock; on both sides. Essentially you would be able to slide the foot end up and down, and the head end up and down separately; on the string/line.

I can actually can adjust mine from the inside. I put cord locks at the side tie out points. I can pinch the cord locks from inside the hammock and then kinda fiddle with the perimeter shock cord to loosen or tighten the sides. It's not the easiest way to do it but it works.
Also, just FYI, the HH over cover has a breather hole in the top of the cover, directly over where your head would be. If you read the weather shield thread I linked to above, you will find that the breather hole is not needed.

Did you use the same dimensions as head, bug net plus 6 inches all around....corners in about 3 inches or did you go with different measurements

I didn't even measure mine. I laid the HH out on the floor, netting side up, and stretched it out tight. Then I just put the fabric over the hammock, arranged it so I had about a 3-4" overlap on each side, and then used a yard stick to draw the lines to cut on. I put about a 1" hem on the edges and ran some shock cord around the perimeter and put cord locks at the side tie out points. Took about 20-30 to make from start to finish.

Really, that sounds easy enough.
