    Talking New Incubator

Finally pulled the trigger on a HG Incubator 0 with +1oz overstuff! I have been using my Phoenix 20 and supplementing the last couple of winters. I plan on doing more winter camping for backcountry skiing missions this year, so it will be a big help. Accompanied with my Simply Light Designs Winter Palace and a HG Burrow 20, should be a nice setup for the snow. Can't wait! Will post pics when it gets here.

    Definitely pix!

I have an Incubator 20 with a burrow 20 but have been looking at getting a Incubator zero for the winter. I do have a 10 degree down mummy bag I could bring to help out the 20 burrow but nothing really to go on the bottom for the winter (don't want to use a pad...yuck lol)

Cant wait to see what that fluffyness looks like!

I love my incubator 0. Still saving up for a burrow though. I do more cool weather camping than anything. Can't wait for the snow to fly.

Yep, I can't wait for the snow either. Not so much for my quilts but more because of this -

Got my Incubator + 1 early summer for my birthday. Santa was good to me this year again and my Burrow top quilt arrived Monday. Let my wife try it out on the couch. Second mistake I made with hammock gear. She loved it. First mistake was letting her try the Incubator this summer camping. She was in the hammock two hours put never slept. Got her back into a tent this summer for the first time in 5 years. Maybe I'll have to buy her a hammock next summer. Enjoy your Incubator. I love mine. It was 44 degrees here Sunday night. Guess were I was?
    Take care

    Here are a few.

Arapahoe National Forest in February at 9500ft and a good 5ft snowpack. Ski toured out of camp the next morning.

Going into RMNP to camp for first tracks. This was also my first test of my skipulk.com pulk. This was out of the Bear lake trailhead and we camped at 10,000ft on a saddle between Dream Lake and lake haiyaha.

Hot tents are awesome! I was caught unawares by a foot and a half of really wet snow in the middle of the night last March. It was 50 degrees and clear when we went to bed. Had to bail out of my hammock in the middle of the night because my tarp couldn't handle the load. Thankfully my buddy was sleeping in a military surplus arctic tent with stove. Crawled in and snuggled up next to my buddies lab, haha. That was a lifesaver.

Nice Pictures! Brings me back to my days of back-country snowboarding. Unfortunately those days are over for me since Jackson Hole claimed two of my vertebrae.
