I haven't seen this before so maybe I'm asking a question that has already been answered elsewhere, but how much does the conversion kit weigh? It's obviously lighter than any other treeless option I've ever seen but I'd still like to know the exact weight. Thanks.

Approx 4-5 oz. I'll post the actual weight tonight if I have cell reception. Part of the kit now lives on the trekking pole.

Total carry weight will vary depending on your ground anchor choices and guy line.

Does this only work with trekking poles, or would it work with something like a set of tent poles made by Fibraplex?

Probably, depends on the pole diameter. Send pics and diameter of the poles. My guess is you only need a subset of the kit.

If fiberglass or less than 0.5" diameter I wouldn't use them.

Not a chance it will work with those poles.
