*------SOLD---------Titanium knife with two sheath options. This was a prototype. Might be the only one in existence at this point. One sheath is velcro with a small plastic insert glued in to stop knife tip from poking out, the other is orange plastic UL sheath with two paracord holes for wearing around neck. Total with both sheaths is less than 1 ounce! This knife has a one-sided grind, welding a thin layer of tungsten carbide on the other side. As the softer titanium edge wears away, it exposes a sharp edge of tungsten carbide. It is a strong, sharp and functional knife which weighs practically nothing. In addition to weighing half as much as steel with very nearly the same strength, titanium is more flexible, non-magnetic, and will never rust, even if exposed to salt water. Titanium alloy is somewhat softer than steel, and therefore will not hold an edge as long as steel, but it is very easy to touch up with whatever sharpener you prefer. Length of blade:2 3/4 inches, overall length: 5 1/2 inches. Only used to cut cord on one overnight trip. NOTE: THIS IS MY LAST TITANIUM KNIFE. I HAVE NO MORE LEFT, SO IF YOU WANT IT, YOU BETTER GET IT NOW BECAUSE THIS IS IT!
$40.00 shipped cont. US, Paypal only.
