This is my first time posting. I have, like a lot of fellow hangers been lurking around this forum getting some great ideas and helpful hints from so many on here that are so kind to help and publish what they have done! I have noticed there had been some Iowa hangs in the past but have not been able to locate a hang for this year. Does anyone know of any? I'd love to meet and learn from some hangers near me.

Nice! I am 10 min South of Des Moines, I have read that they had a hangout in the yellow river forrest in the past which would seem to be good spot. I've never camped there only fished which is really good.
I haven't heard of any being planned for this fall. But in the past there have been group hangs at Yellow River and at Indian Cave just across the river in Nebraska.
I bet if you took on the task of organizing one you would get some interest.

The annual Iowa Fall hang usually happens around the second weekend in November at Yellow River. I haven't been able to attend yet, myself, but I know Bic has some great videos of the past hangs.
Any word on the Yellow River hang this year?
