Video, Indaina Hike 1 $ a few words on the RIBZ pack

    http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/v...ls&videoid=143

Just returned from a trip to walk around Lake Monroe. The trip was about 22 miles of hills and good times. The Dixon Roller Pack was wonderful. I plan on adding hubcaps and deflectors on it to keep sticks out of the wheel, but it was never a real problem and I never got stopped more than a few seconds with something getting picked up by the packframe. About a third of the hike was bushwhacking, including CLIMBING BROWNING HILL FROM THE WEST!!! The DRP was great!
I had the RIBZ pack on the whole time too, and hardly knew it was there until I needed my camera or compass, etc. It will be with me from now on, great piece of gear. I never came close to filling up the pockets.
Enjoy the video, music by Bill Monroe, "My last days on Earth."

Great hike - how did the barefoot guy like going barefoot? I assume he has done it before and has gotten his feet acclimated.

Patrick did the AT long ago. He is the one that you saw swimming in Salt Creek in the pictures. He went barefoot for a few miles and led the way. He's got tougher feet than I ever will have.

Cool .... I love "My Last Days On Earth" by Bill Monroe. Sometimes I re-tune the mandolin and play it myself. That song attracts loons on the lake!
