Mother Nature and El Nino strike again! Heavy rain will be moving in Saturday night and I don't like hiking out in bad weather, so it looks like I will be joining you after all. I plan on getting there late Friday morning. I will bring to share: couscous with smoked oysters, a layered bean dip and chips, fresh apple cider with optional Fireball.

Got the all clear to come for an overnighter. Will be there quarter till darkish Friday. Let me know if anything in particular is needed.
BeBop and I are loaded and ready. Hopefully we will be on our way early in the AM.
Rain or no rain Saturday night, it will be WONDERFUL to lay in my hammock out there again and near the creek noise. I have an old friend that will be joining us for Friday night and he and his little dog will be in his TENT! But he's okay as he loaned me his old Hennesy that got me started in hanging in the first place. Saturday night I'll pop up some Jiffy Pop for everyone as we watch for creatures and goblins to come in from the woods. I have an appointment at 8:30 in Gainesville for about half an hour and then I'll be on my way. WoooHoooo! Excited!
I had everything loaded before dark yesterday, except for food/cooking gear, my wife and dog, and me. Coffee and biscuits are about ready for breakfast, so hope to be on the road before day light.
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.
Waiting on a call from the insurance folks and it's off to the piney woods! See y'all there.
