    I find that the tarp pulls tighter and more naturally without any added ridge line. The ridgeline under would upbraid the fabric on the tarp and the tarp bunches up too. I don't like a RL on a tarp NO how.
    Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.

    I just set-up an over ridgeline with prusiks today...interesting (and easy deployment).
    I'll show you on our next trip (I'm a visual learner)

    Just got my first tarp and this thread ( and a couple of others ) answered alot of questions on what I was doing wrong hanging my new tarp. Part of the fun though and I am glad I decided to set it up in the backyard to work out the gremilins at home instead of waiting till I was out in the woods in a storm getting soaked.
    I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
