Xenon tarp

I contacted a member here about making me a tarp, something light. This member, who wishes to remain nameless, but I own huge thank you to, did an amazing job. They went above and beyond what I expected. They used Dutch's Xenon fabric, made an eleven foot tarp with doors on one end and an internal pole mod to open up the other end.

The fabric is amazing strong for how light it is, 10 oz (without poles)! It packs down to smaller than a soft ball. I seam sealed it with silnet thinned with mineral spirits. The fabric took it perfectly. I did have seal the inside and outside where loop for pole was on the ridgeline. I used stingers and hook worms to finish it. Can't wait to use it at MAHHA this weekend.

Very nice tarp. No divulging the maker huh? Better off I guess as a tarp will probably be my first DIY. I'd like to maybe try a silpoly tarp.

Wow that is an awesome looking set up. I have yet to get a proper tarp for purpose, that looks like all one could ask for. i imagine that creates a ton of headroom with that pole mod.
