    I'm in!

Took a while for me to register, Tapatalk didn't fill in all the blanks for me the first time.
Relatively new to hammock camping, our group normally goes south east of Algonquin park. Hopefully meet a few new folks on here, explore more areas next year.

Welcome to the site. I'm new to camocking (that's what my 18 year old daughter has dubbed it) and only getting started with the task of out fitting four of us with the items needed to stay off the ground.

"I'm in!" too, with both feet and in the deep end.

    Thanks gang.
Poor Dux, I feel your pain. Lol. I can't imagine not having one. He hunts everything I ask him to, and he swims the frozen rivers willingly. For this climate ( southern Ontario) and my hunting style, he's a perfect fit.

Yup, they can be a pain... at times (Stubborn Germans!!) but they bring much more joy. Speaking of bringing things, I'm happy just as long as it's not a skunk or a porcupine that they're bringing me!!

Does yours hang in your hammock with you? I could only withstand the sad puppy eyes for so long, had to let my Draht up into the 'mock.

No, he's a big guy, he is trained to stay in one spot until I release him. Like a dog hide while duck hunting. I don't always make him do that, and have been woken by him sticking his head in my hammock.
Mine has never brought me either a skunk or porcupine, thankfully.
