    Poncho liner

I'm looking to use a cheap poncho liner for extra warmth for my top quilt and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? Camo is always nice but I am open to anything. Thanks to everyone here

Try a surplus store, you may be able to find some for about $20. I'd sell you mine, but I've had my woobie since basic training though, in 1988 . I've kinda become accustomed to it.

Here's a combo deal that includes poncho and poncho liner, in several different camo colors...

The poncho liner is thin. I don't know how warm it would keep you/what temp ratings it's good for.

It's very inexpensive though, and quality is pretty good. I have the green digital, which is a commercial version of Woodland MARPAT.

I got mine right outside Camp LeJeune NC at a surplus store. They're cheap and they work extreamly well especially when you look at how thin they are. I've tied mine under my hammock as an under quilt and used it inside as an over quilt. Temps down to about 50ish. All the ones I've seen were in some shade of camo, some lighter, some darker. Used they run in my area between $16-20.

I think I paid around $15 or so for mine from an Army Surplus Store. I have sewn in a footbox and I love it as a light top quilt.

EBay usually has several sellers, I have seen deals where you can get two for $20 and found one seller who was doing four for $20. If you shop the pages you can find some really good deals for one. These deals are usually for used but in good to excellent condition, depending on what your needs are that is all you really need or may be after.

Very good shopping experiences for me at http://www.uscav.com/.

At time of this post, poncho liners prices range from $22.99 to $33.99 not including tax or shipping.

    Hope this helps.

I bought an all polyester woobie from our local army-navy store, thinking it would be good for an indestructible quilt for my SAR pack. While it's light, it adds little warmth due to small loft. The thicker woobies are pretty heavy. If you buy one online, check the specs. Turns out my DIY KAQ goes with me instead.
