I have the 11'x9' tarp. As it is my first one I cannot give you a thorough comparison or review but I hope some pictures'll do it for a start. Since I have no outdoor pictures I hung it up in my living room. Sorry for that but it'll give you a first impression
AFAIK they're made of sil nylon and available in blue (like the superfly on the warbonnet website) and this dark olive tone. It's darker than the od green fabric of the 1.7 BB. I think it blends in with a forest or any kind of outdoor surrounding quite well.
The pannel pulls cost $15 extra but the large side walls justify the upgrade when you're in an area with occasional gusts of wind. Needless to say that the quality and workmanship is flawless...
Here's the pictures:

I like that color. What is the dimension between the side tieouts?

Whats new compared to the previous warbonnet tarps? I have one in blue i got a few weeks ago, not sure if its the new model or not.
IMO it is the same as the Big MamaJamba tarp with slightly smaller dimensions. It has no removable doors and is an inexpensive yet fully "professional" tarp.
the 11x9 is really 11x10. i set out to make a 9' wide hex, but i decided to make it 9' wide at it's narrowest (mid cat-cut) what i realized later is that this makes it about 10' at it's widest (how most tarps are measured). i'll probably change the name.
the mj/sf, is about 10'6" or 10'8" wide at it's widest and has the panel pulls. both are very similar in shape.
Can anyone tell me the weights of the two hex tarps, as packed? (putting one of them on my Xmas list)
11.5 for the smallest
15.5 for the med
will get back to you on the mj weight
