I use them on Underquilts for secondary suspension w/shock cord, and for tarp ridgeline tensioner, in place of a continuous RL with prussiks or other hardware.image.jpg

HG uses them in the secondary underquilt suspension - and I love them. I used to have CBS, but got rid of it by upgrading every underquilt I own with those thingies.

I think a couple of tarp makers are using LineLocs on their tarps. So it seems to work alright.

.....quick explanation of secondary vs. primary suspension on an uq? I've got a greylock3, shockcord runs from head to foot through side channels through some cord locks. Does the linelock3 replace the cordlocks?

I guess that's a matter of taste. You would need to sew on the LineLocs, so you'd need to be fairly sure that you prefer them to "upgrade" your tarp.
