    November Golden Colorado Hang

So, I just ordered a 0 degree top quilt and bottom quilt from HG and thinking about trying them out.

Looking at White Ranch in Golden, CO due to proximity of vehicles and access to firewood.

Feel free to join me on Saturday, November 14th. I'm going to try to reserve campsite 18. Each site can typically accommodate 3 campers.

Sounds good. For once I do not have anything pre-planned for that weekend. And I just got some new stuff I want to try out before winter really sets in.

Dispersed Camping is more my style. Have fun!

Absolutely man, same here but I figured since I'm trying out some new gear, I would do a dry run that's somewhat close. I'll be hosting a dispersed trip next year at some point at Native Lake outside Leadville.

Sounds good! I might go ahead and reserve spot 19 as well. Tent camper coming along too. Working on getting him into hammock camping.

Ok gang, I reserved campsites 13 and 14 at the Sawmill Campground in White Ranch, Golden CO for Saturday November 14th. I plan on being at the Trailhead around 2pm to get set up and do major lolly gagging. Feel free to show up whenever. Hope to meet a few of you!

    Hey there folks...

New here and still new to hammocks, but I'm glad I found this thread. Good to know that there are others in the area that are into fall/winter hangs.

Just got a Greylock 4 from JRB and tested it last week in Roosevelt National Forest. My thermometer said the overnight low was 20° and it snowed, but I was toasty. Just used my 0° sleeping bag as a top quilt.

It was a blast, but I was solo. The Mrs. thinks I'm crazy, so she won't go, but sometimes a trip is just better with others.
