    12 Days !!!!!!!

    Well, we're almost there ya'll!

12 days and the fun begins. I'm so pysched for this hang, well I get excited over every hang, but this one is going to be different I believe.

I'm looking forward to meeting a whole new bunch of friends, and hangin' in the snow again, and hiking some trails, not to mention Thorwren's stew!

Anyone planning to stay Sunday night? If so I'll throw in a bit more food and hang out with ya...

Got in a bad car accident today. Luckily no 'serious' injuries. Hit by a guy talking on a cellphone doing 80 in a 50 while attempting to pass on the right one handed on the wheel. Well there was a good bit of ice on the road ... and the rest is history. After taking statements on the scene for an hour and a half with police, vehicle was towed away to an accident center for photos, etc. When we arrived, other driver decided he had head trauma was possibly injured.

No charges were laid yet, ... but seems destined for the courts.

Not sure yet how this event will impact our planned attendance for Mark and Turk at this group hang. As of right now, we are still planning to arrive friday... just not sure if this changes anything.

First auto accident i've been the driver in. I could have lived without the experience.

Yikes! Thank God you're OK. Hope you make it down, but take care of yourself first...

It's looking like I'm not gonna be able to make it, will have to see when it gets a little closer. Work just changed the schedule on me and we're still working overtime right now so I have no idea what I'll be facing for my work schedule. Keeping fingers crossed though...if I can't make it for an over nighter perhaps I could do a day hike and at least meet some of you guys.

Rats! I was looking forward to meeting you, Turk!

I hope you mean that the fellow you hit was talking on a cellphone and speeding with one hand on the wheel while passing on the right.

I hope you can find a way to make it, NewHiker!
