Hi all;

Bumble Bee here. A hammock newbie hoping to get a ton of useful info and eventually be able to offer the same to someone else. I'm in Michigan, and am typically a kayak camper, not a backpacker. Weight isn't that much of an issue. In a 110# loaded kayak; a couple of pounds of hammock doesn't make much difference.

Hope to be a frequent contributor.

Welcome Bumble Beee, from your neighbor to the south! You will find more than a ton of info here. A really helpful group. My suggestion would be to check out articles section, especially the Acronym sticky. It will help you loads in deciphering the hammock shorthand used here.
