I just bought a WBRR after trying a few out at MAHHA, and was wondering what the best tarp, or at least tarp length is (in case I diy it). I'm thinking I want a hex, but I'm not sure.

I use a Wilderness Logics Bullfrog 12'x10' tarp with pullouts on my bridge.

I had a cloudburst and it was OK. For not much more weight and money though I swapped it out for a SuperFly. The pullouts aren't quite as far apart as the spreader bars on the WBRR but I don't find that to be a problem.
FYI....the cloudburst is only 11' and seemed to be ample coverage (same as the SF). I'm hoping some other SF owners will chime in.
I had my Superfly pitched wide and a little high at MAHHA and my spreader bars had plenty of room. I love the Superfly but the problem with it and the WBRR is the doors won't close due to the triangle. Some folks have shortened the triangle to get the doors to close a little more but it won't seal up like it would with a GE hammock. Maybe someone who has done the internal pole mod will post pics, crazy clearance for the spreader bars, it really opens the tarp up.
The Warbonnet Cloudburst is designed for the Ridgerunner specifically.......http://www.warbonnetoutdoors.com/cloudburst/

I have the superfly and the cloudburst. The superfly gives a bit more protection but the cloudburst pullouts are spaced specifically for the rr. I have pole mods for both tarps which make them huge inside. 11' ridgeline is plenty imo for good coverage.
A few weeks ago I had my WBRR and CB set up at Grayson Highlands where it rained constantly for three days (windy) and had no problems.
Straight out of Clayton.
Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.
I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.
The superfly, with its 11' ridgeline works just fine. If I ever upgrade to the Cuben winter palace I covet so much I'll get it in the 12' just because mobetta.
Length is actually the last thing to worry about. A bridge has a smaller length coverage requirment than any other hammock (unless you're uncomfortable getting the suspension triangle wet, but with drip lines thats really not a problem).
The biggest concern is width, and material removed from the hex shape. Because the hammock is a bit wider profile, a hex shape can reduce coverage from windblown rain. If you are going to do a hex shape, I recommend a very slight hex.
Realisically a 10x10 square tarp would probably cover you fine.
