Just recently got into hammocks and I gotta tell ya, I'm diggin it. I've camped in everything from a bag on the ground, to a full out RV. This is way better. Looking forward to a winter camp, maybe a little ice fishing on the river, who knows, you're only limited by your equipment and knowledge. And between the forum and what a guy can learn on the Internet I'm feeling like I know enough to give it a good try! Looking forward to learning and applying it at every opportunity. Welcome! I'm heading west on 21 in a few minutes to hike the Mecan River segment of the Ice Age trail with my wife and dog. My hammock is in the pack, although I doubt it will get hung up... But you never know.
