Hi fellow HF'ers,
So I will admit that I have been lurking for awhile. Back in the summer I went to summer camp with my 11yo sons Boy Scout Troop. Having never slept in a hammock before, I dove in head first and spent the whole week sleeping in one. It was GREAT!!! I slept so good. After that week, I had to buy both of my boys (the other one is still in Cub Scouts) their own hammocks. We have camped with the Boy Scouts each month since June and we have slept in our hammocks each time. Earlier this month it was tricky because we where in an open field but I had built Dereck's 3 person hammocks stand.(we got a lot of comment about that).
Last weekend I took the bed out of my 11yo bedroom and he is now a full time hanger(my wife is still not 100% sold on this yet).
Next up for us is to get some UQ's but they will have to be in the Christmas budget.
Anyway, thanks for helping me and my boys get addicted to hammock camping!
