Small lightweight non-stick packing pan; odd but interesting piece of cook kit!!

I have an unusual piece; it's a small little pan that's non-stick. Has a "tab" where you could grip it. The size is about perfect for frying a single egg into a perfect circle for a muffin and egg sandwich. It has 4 little vent holes near the upper rim; I have no idea why. I got this a long time ago with some other stove stuff and never used it.

I imagine this is something you could use to bake something in but it's small lightweight and well...different. It's in perfect condition and looks like it could sit in the top of the right sized pot but not sure why you'd want to do that.

Thought I'd offer it up for sale in case we have some folks who do some serious cooking while backpacking but still want their gear to be lightweight. Not sure what it's made of but it's very strong, light, and definitely non-stick.

The only purpose I can see for it with my limited creativity would be to literally fry a single egg or a piece of fish or a piece of bacon.

Asking $20 for it and I'll ship it in the conus. This just might be a jewel for someone out there

    Thanks
    Gideon

it looks like an egg poaching pan - part of a larger set of 4 or 5 that go into a larger pan with cutouts for the small ones - you boil water and it poaches the eggs -

could very well be. I got it as part of stove/cook kit so it was used in the field. It's definitely interesting!

Interesting speculation; the entire pan is non-stick. If it was intended for crepes, they'd be awfully small ones!

    I have one of those...!!!

it is exactly that, a piece from a larger egg poacher pan from wally world...typical Wally World like $6.97 for set of 4 of these..

It happens to nest EXACTLY inside/on top of the famous $3.97 IMUSA .6 liter aluminum cup from same store...

I had grabbed it with thought of using as fry pan for egg, small pancakes, small burger patty, etc...

    Never happened though....

I think our mystery is solved!!

Hmm; so my price seems high if you can buy a set from Wally world. Checked my local one but couldn't find it. So I'll offer this one for $10 shipped in case anyone doesn't want to search Wally world.
