depend on what breaks the "bank". ****'s Sporting has a Marmot 15 degree down bag for under $200

    any down mummy bag should...
have a footbox (just don't unzip it all the way)
be 58" wide...most quilts are not that wide. But, even a mummy bag unzipped will be that wide
    I'd start there

well i actually got a used jrb cyclist quilt... i just got it today... i have to say that this being my first down product i was totally unimpressed. but since i got an underquilt today also i took a nap in it and decided to put it all back in the stuff sacks and go home so i wouldn't soak it in sweat... i couldn't believe how warm it was. nice color too. bright orange top and black insides.

    thanks everybody

Interesting post ...FWIW, the original JRB Biker quilt (fore-runner of the Springer and the entire JRB Large Family quilts) was a 40* summer quilt....But I recon that piled up over one in a hammock it could be pretty warm.

I've used the biker down into the mid 20's and it was great. The guy I bought it off of a few years ago said that he had added more down.

have you washed it? Carefully; using the recommended procedures and products as for down sleeping bags; the loft really comes back if properly treated..
[Who was it has the 15 year old sleeping bag from ebay that tripled it's loft after cleaning? (darn this random access memory chip...)]
