    Linville Gorge Winter Hang

This is a newbie question: what does one do at a group hang? Are there activities? I've never done one of these and I just don't know any better. Please don't laugh too hard.

Well, you hang out with folks with similar interests. Check out each other's setups - maybe try one or two out for a few minutes. Go on hikes. Ask questions about hammock stuff and learn more in a day than you will in weeks of watching YouTube. In this case, take a short road trip to Louise's to eat pie, etc. Toast a few around the campfire in the evening. and. and.
you get the idea. And . . . . nobody thinks you're silly for asking. We were all newbies once.

To add one very important thing to Pappy's list.......we EAT!! Dutch oven cooking is quite often a norm too.
