This is a gorgeous knife that I just never got around to using.
I polished and used linseed oil to further bring out the grain in the handle. The birch pattern is soooo nice.
Knife is 99% perfect but I did notice a few micro surface scratches on the mirror polish. *If you plan on actually using the knife, you'll laugh at that last comment.If you don't, these can easily be buffed out.
At 3.6ozs, this knife hits the sweet spot for backpackers. Light, tough, and great to just stare at. Helle makes incredible knives.
