I'm sleeping outside this weekend and I know the temp will be below freezing. This is my first trip this cold in the hammock and I obviously want to be warm.
I have a 25 degree JRB partial under quilt and a 25 degree JRB Hudson River top quilt. Love them for three seasons.
I'm thinking of putting the partial on and then using the Hudson River as a bottom quilt over that (so, doubling-up the under insulation) and then using a zero degree sleeping bag I have as my top insulation.
I also have a 2QZQ under quilt protector I can add under both quilts.
What are everyone's thoughts about this strategy?
Thanks!
