Love it ! My work is done for the day. You just inspired me to head out for a quick day hike.

Don't think I can top that scenery but I'll try and suffer through.

Many people post pics of beautiful places on here, and some of them make me want to visit there, but you sir, seem to post those pics that actually beckon one to come. If "life" doesn't get in my way I hope to set a camp in some of your spectacular country, if only for a night or two this coming year.

Haven't been by the site for a long time. Nice to see your pics and fire Bill. You live in a beautiful place. I could feel the warmth, smell the burn and hear the crackle. The pitter patter of rain only adds to it. Hope all is well, thanks for sharing.

I think of that every time I go camping in the rain. The best part about camping in the rain is that you have the whole forest to yourself.

The key isn't planting ourself in dramatic scenery all the time but to appreciate nature in general. Once a person gets out of the city there are prairies, mts ,woodlands and lakes everywhere altho it doesn't hurt when one happens to live in a beautiful place.

I wish you all the best in your vision of the coming year. If there's some way i can help , let me know.

Couldn't agree more with your post! A view, a fire, a hot drink...these simple things are what keep me going in life. Thanks for posting!

    Hi mbiraman,

It was great to see photos from you out in your little bit of "Paradise" in British Columbia. I have wondered how you were as I have not been posting here much lately. I will have to get out and share a few photos from the opposite coast of Canada. It has been cold and raining for almost a week now...I need to just get out there I guess. Thanks for the inspiration to do that....Take care, Bluefin.

Hey Bluefin; yes its true i have been away for a while, life threw me a few curve balls so it takes time to process, also we had an incredibly hot summer here so did very little hiking and more biking. Been getting out this fall off and on and had a really nice day and thought i'd post it. Glad your well out on the right side of the country.
