Finished my asym hammock and need some rings.

I decided to use 2 layers of 1.6 non treated hopefully for a bit of extra strength.

Its a bit heavy though at 24 oz with the straps.

Used 12' 1200# harbor freight straps.

Whipped it with strap ties and tied on the straps, but now I need some rings of some sort. Not quite sure where to go locally. I have a West marine and a ace hardware close.

    Suggestions would be appreciated.

get the 2inch ones. They'll hold up to 2000 lbs each before breaking.

I used these with success. They are stainless steel, so they are a bit heavy... Free shipping and 12,000 LB breaking strength.

I recommend the SMC Descending Ring. Very light and they have a sort of matte finish, not as smooth as stainless.

Anything you're likely to find at West or Ace is going to be unnecessarily heavy, and of questionable strength. The SMC rings are a better choice, and about a thousand times more elegant.
