EE TQ Users - your experience with temp ratings?

I've finally decided on model (Enigma), size, fabric, colors, and fill. But I still haven't decided on which temp rating to get.
I would probably be considered a normal to warm sleeper. Do any of you EE owners have an opinion on the temp ratings of the EE top quilts? Without additional clothing - is a 20 degree quilt good down to 20?, 30? 40?

I have the enigma 30 with the highest goose down available from them. I've had a lot of issues with this top quilt. I even got the moisture barriers sewn on.i've also had a lot of down to come out from seams. The foot box totally opened up about 3 inches from a bad seem. I had to send it back to them for them to fix it. But to answer your question. At 30° temps I have to wear a jacket and pants and thick socks. In temps around 30° . I use a piece of reflectex in the foot box.I do have to state that normally I am a very hot sleeper. So with a 30° top quilt I shouldn't have to wear a jacket. I will save the downtek does work wonders if you get your quilt wet.

I was hoping for more responses but this is disturbing. Thanks for the comments, Helium33.

I have a 0 degree revelation, and I've had no issues whatsoever. IMO, it's really well made, and a quality product.

My ONLY gripe with it, is that the cinch for the footbox uses shock cord, and the cinch for the neck uses static cord. I'd rather that were reversed like on my burrow.

As far as temp rating, I've only taken it down to about 12 F, but I was VERY warm. I have no doubts about it's rating.

I have used it several times, and it still looks brand new. I have no issues with quality or craftsmanship, whatsoever.

Here's the lofty monster wanting to bust out of my hammock last weekend...

I have topquilts from hammockgear, ugq, and enlightened equipment. The quality is similarly top notch for all 3. I have a 20* from HG and EE, both are comfortable for me into the mid 20's and doable into the upper teens. I think the EE is couple of degrees better than the HG. No experience with the zpacks quilts, but the make great tarps.

I have an 30* EE RevX TQ and use it with a HG 20* 3/4 UQ. I have used this combination comfortably down to 30 degrees. . .frost was on the ground when I woke up and I was warm in the hammock. As an editorial note I love this quilt, have found it very comfortable and it has held up well for me. I recommend it without reservation.

I have two RevX TQs ( one is rated to 0 degrees and the other is a 30 degree ) and have used them for several years. Excellent quality and and they have kept me toasty.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

Follow up. The 10 degree EE took me overnight at 3 degree F and I was toasty last night.
