    Santa Barbara Options

My buddy and I are avid hangers, and we are headed up to Santa Barbara for a concert in December - I was wondering if anyone could suggest a place to hang overnight after a long night of music and drinking for relatively cheap. The venue is 1317 State St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101, and we will be coming from Los Angeles, so the closer to Santa Barbara the better, but as far back towards Los Angeles as Carpenteria might work. Any suggestions? Anyone know anyone I might be able to ask in the area? I was thinking about calling REI tomorrow, I think there is one up there. Thanks guys!

Cachuma Lake is nice. The Mohawk area is my favorite section. Campsites 562 and 563 are pretty awesome!
Lots of trees in the Mohawk Area, not so many in the other areas.

Thanks bud, I made a reservation. I didnt get the sites you suggested, but it looks like we can make 570 work for us.

Nice! Last time I was there some of the spots in the Mohawk Area were first come first served, so if 570 doesn't have good trees you should be able to switch.

WOW!! I just looked at the satellite image of the area on Google maps; the water is crazy low!
It appears they've even built new roads where there used to be water.
