    light for hammock

    hello everyone,
My name is Joanna. I like camping. This summer I purchased my first hammock. I wanted to ask you people about the light. Sometimes I want to read. Are there any special accessories for hammock to fix the light?
    Thanks for the help
PS: sorry, if I posted it in a wrong subforum.

Check out the Niteize Tube LED light. Extremely lightweight, rechargeable with a micro usb plug built in, and burns for about 48hrs on the low setting. Easily tied to the ridgeline with an elastic hair band, or cordage of some sort.

    Cheers

The NiteIze Spotlit LED carabiner is the light that I have on all of hammock ridgelines. It's small, cheap and really lights up the space well. Usually pick one up for around $5.

If you just want to read, why not just use your headlamp? I have a Lucie, a carabiner clip light, and battery powered christmas lights. Haven't used any of them in over a year. I just use my headlamp. One less thing to carry. I'm already guilty of taking other things I don't always use.

I use my headlamp - works great. Also, I've found if I larks head mine to the ridgeline I can point it in just about any direction and it stays there. I like to point it up on the tarp for a nice gentle, dispersed glow.

Isn't that the one Shug uses? Seems like he said Hickery gave it to him in one of his videos.

That's what I was thinking. Could be a quick $11 impulse buy for me. I probably won't ever use it. Dangit!!

My son has one of these and loves it. It works surprising well. Only issue I see is you can't easily direct the light for reading..
