*Why? Advantages:

---
*Lose the bag, get a NO Sniv Topquilt or similar one
------
*Use speer no tangle on the tarp/guylines, super light, strong.
-------
*Lose the straps and switch to whoppie slings + toggles (use trail sticks as toggles, no weight) (save alot of weight):
*Be sure to get 7/64 amsteel, lighter than 1/8
*this will allow you to lose the biners as well
----
*Reduce Stuff Sacks: Store Bag and quilt in same stuff sack (large if possible), keep your gear inside contractor bags, dont worry about dry sacs, they rarely work IMO.
*Dont use stakes for the BB, use sharpened sticks (i only use stakes for the tarp, takes a minute or two to sharpen two small sticks)
-------
*MLD Cuben [Expensive] or Maccat deluxe in Spinn to save ounces. Better yet, Make Your Own Cuben Tarp! Cheaper than buying one, and super fun cause you made it!
---------
*Why do you need 8 stakes?
All of these things outta shave alot when combined.
If you did everything on here, i dont see why you could'nt come close to reducing your winter setup by nearly two pounds.
