Icebreaker 200 or 260 weight bottoms and tops. I already had them for snowboarding. I just picked up a set of Patagonia merino air baselayer (top and bottom) as well. Not cheap but toasty and odour resistant. The Patagonia are lighter and is a mix of wool and polyester, waffled to create loft. I have found then to breath better than the icebreaker (which are amazing to begin with). The Patagonia are lighter and would dry faster IMO while they seem to keep be just as warm as my icebreaker set (200 weight top, 260 weight bottoms).

It looks cozy and warm in there. I can't wait until my next sub freezing camping trip!

Okay, sold my EE TQ to a bud and had to create something for myself in the TQ line.
I think I went a little overboard since our winter is pretty mild so far.
By the calculator and 3 oz of overstuff I should be good to -7F (plus 3 oz past)
... Im good to -20 Celcius for sure.
Test it tonight.. warmish though.. -16 Celcius... almost 0 F
