I was thinking the same thing by using my Exped Synmat in the pocket of my WBBB-XLC 1.1 DL to stretch the range of my 20 degree Yeti. It should still allow the UQ to fit nicely against the hammock. I bet I could easily go to the teens, maybe lower. The pad would be inflated just enough to do the job, no more.

I went to the Adirondacks in January with a 3/4 length Jacks R Better 0.0 degree. I also use a 0.0 top quit.

I believe that I should have bought a full length winter under quilt for those 0.0 nights and below, which are often in upstate NY.

I just used a 3/4 30 degree UQ, with a 4 degree sleeping bag. Wow, I slept great. But it was maybe in the 40s. I may try the 30 degree UQ and the 0.0 UQ next winter. I do know my 0.0 is good, but there are times when some part of me is not covered, and I am cold.

    O' my!

I've taken the insulated Klymit (the hammock version) down to freezing on multiple occasions; she'll be fine.
